Listening to Solace’s cover of Black Sabbath’s Electric Funeral is like stumbling upon an ancient broadcast that has been drifting through the depths of the cosmos for millennia. It really does have an other-worldly vibe to it, pretty rough around the edges, very retro, and possibly recorded live. It is good to hear a different interpretation of Black Sabbath where other bands would have done something more obvious. Master of Alchemy

With big hard hitting percussion and riffs (as per Led Zeppelin) in ‘Painted Lady’ and a raw blues feel (as per Paw) in ‘The Dog Song’ there is nothing not to like about this "Lost Album". I’ve had this one kicking about in my wishlist for some time and my only regret is not getting it sooner. It's dirty, hard, southern stoner blues that’ll roll around in your head long after you’ve heard it. Harry Harrison
